The Twin Parish Port Commission promotes commerce within its district boundaries which includes parts of Iberia and Vermilion Parishes in south Louisiana, with focus in and around the communities of Delcambre and Erath. The Port of Delcambre, administered by the Twin Parish Port Commission facilitates the economic projects from inception to successful implementation.
Despite formidable challenges of hurricanes, downturns in the oil and gas industries, imported seafood, and the ongoing obstacles of the commercial fishing industry, the Twin Parish Port District, guided by strategic planning, continues to enthusiastically reinvent itself. See About US.

Acadiana Regional Seafood Hub
All eyes are on the Acadiana Regional Seafood Hub, the first food hub of its kind in Acadiana. The facility, a multi-use facility, is being constructed in Erath, Louisiana on Highway 14. The hub supports small businesses primarily in the seafood industry and a variety of other food-related businesses.
The Acadiana Regional Seafood Hub connects business owners to resources, producers to markets, and markets to consumers for improved quality of life. The structure is set to house a commissary kitchen, cold storage, packing and shipping and instruction and training space.
For more information regarding benefits of utilizing the hub for both producers and markets as well as project partners and more, see additional information here Acadiana Regional Seafood Hub.
