Acadiana Regional Seafood Hub All eyes are on the Acadiana Regional Seafood Hub, the first food hub of its kind in Acadiana. The facility, a multi-use facility, is being constructed in Erath, Louisiana on Highway 14. The hub supports small businesses primarily in the seafood industry and a variety of other food-related businesses. The Acadiana Regional Seafood Hub connects business owners to resources, producers to markets, and markets to consumers for improved quality of life. The Louisiana Economic Development is accepting applications now for the 2021 edition of CEO Roundtables, an award-winning program that equips second-stage firms with the right resources to sustain, strengthen and scale their businesses for a new level of growth. Beginning in July, LED will convene CEO Roundtables of 15 to 18 qualified decision-makers from firms with annual revenue of $600,000 to $50 million and staff sizes of five to 99 people. Participants will meet 10 times over 12 months in an environment that promotes positive, peer-to-peer learning and networking. For Immediate Release January 26, 2021 Grants Awarded to Port of Delcambre The Twin Parish Port District (Port of Delcambre) was recently the only Louisiana recipient of two grants totaling nearly $305,000 that will be used to increase growth and opportunities for its Delcambre Seafood & Farmers Market (DSFM) and its seafood industry. In a September 30 announcement, the USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service awarded a three-year grant of $231,244 to the Twin Parish Port District, through the Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP), to promote a healthier community through the DSFM.
